US House Committee Exposes Antisemitic Curricula in Public Schools
A US congressional report revealed antisemitic materials and anti-Israel bias in public schools, including assignments defining Israel and the USA as terrorist states.

A congressional investigation in the USA has revealed alarming instances of antisemitic content and anti-Israel bias in public school curricula across the country, sparking renewed concerns over the safety of Jewish students.
Congressional Findings on School Districts
The House Committee on Education and the Workforce published a comprehensive report detailing findings from school districts in Philadelphia and Berkeley, as well as the National Education Association (NEA). According to the probe, students in Philadelphia were asked in a world history assignment to praise a resistance movement that included a campaign backed by Hamas, while another task required defining the USA and Israel as terrorist entities.
Parents send their children to school to learn reading, writing, and math—not to be taught to hate Israel or adopt radical political agendas, said Committee Chairman Tim Walberg. Jewish students deserve to feel safe in their classrooms, and parents have a right to know what is being taught.
Incidents in Berkeley and Union Policies
In Berkeley, California, an ethnic studies unit featured a map where Israel was entirely labeled as Palestine, and educational materials positively portrayed figures with histories of making antisemitic remarks. Meanwhile, the report criticized the NEA for cutting ties with the Anti-Defamation League and funding educational groups that distribute materials deemed antisemitic.
