United Airlines is expanding its operations in Israel by launching flights from Tel Aviv to Chicago and Washington. Starting October 26, the airline will operate four weekly flights to Chicago, followed by three weekly flights to Washington starting October 28.

These new routes join the company's two daily flights to New York, which resumed on September 9. United also plans to launch flights to San Francisco starting March 30, expanding travel options amid increasing regional developments and security tensions.

Meanwhile, the return of Delta Air Lines and Israir Airlines to the transatlantic market has increased competition on the New York route. Average ticket prices for November across five carriers stand at approximately $1,223, with Israir offering the lowest average at $1,135, followed by United, Arkia, Delta, and El Al.

Industry analysts expect prices to drop further below $1,000 toward the beginning of the year, depending on fluctuating fuel costs and market demand.
