Rakel Lee Boilo, who starred in the Disney film "The Proof Point," is suing the entertainment giant, claiming she was subjected to repeated sexual assaults by a crew member during the filming of the movie in 2001.

The actress, who was 14 at the time of filming, accuses the production of negligence and failing to protect her as an employee of the company, claiming that one of the employees (whose name was not mentioned) engaged in grooming and sexual exploitation.

According to the lawsuit, it is alleged that the employee used to whisper explicitly sexual comments into Boilo's ear and use physical touch, including hugs, to gain her attention.

Furthermore, Boilo claims that she was separated from her chaperone during the filming days, which allowed that employee to be near her and enabled him to carry out that inappropriate behavior toward her.

Additionally, the lawsuit claims that "irreversible and devastating damage" was caused by Disney, and that the production did nothing to ensure the safety of the children on the set. The production outlet Deadline reached out to Disney, but as of now, the company has refrained from commenting.

As a reminder, this is not the first time that individuals under the Disney umbrella have been involved in similar cases. In 2023, actor Jonathan Majors, who starred in several Marvel series and films, was accused of domestic violence.
