Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived last night (Sunday) for a surprise visit to the HaSharon Mall in Netanya, and stopped for a short coffee break at the local Cafe Greg branch alongside the mayor, Avi Salma. The routine-looking stop aroused great curiosity among diners and passersby, and within minutes became the center of attention in the complex.

During the stay, which lasted about half an hour, Netanyahu ordered a short espresso and sparkling water accompanied by his security detail. Daniel Suissa, the franchisee of Cafe Greg in Netanya, said: "It was a surprise visit for us. It is not every day that a Prime Minister and his entourage enter our cafe. Everything happened on short notice, but there was a good and respectful atmosphere, and we were happy to host them."

Suissa added that he was happy about the choice of his cafe, and emphasized that the place strives to provide warm hospitality to everyone who enters, whether it is a senior official or a casual customer.

As a reminder, the elections for the 26th Knesset will take place on Tuesday, the 27th of Cheshvan 5787, October 27, 2026, and such meetings in the public space are becoming more frequent. A short stop for coffee in the heart of a busy mall allows a glimpse into a moment of routine and direct contact with residents in the field, far from government offices and formal discussions.
