Five-year-old child in critical condition after being found in a lake at Park Darom, Tel Aviv
The child entered the water and did not return, while his friend came out alone, prompting an immediate search and rescue operation. The boy has been evacuated to Ichilov Hospital.

A child of about five years old was found today (Friday) in critical condition in a lake at Park Darom in Tel Aviv. He was evacuated to Ichilov Hospital while undergoing emergency resuscitation efforts.
The incident occurred after the child entered the lake and failed to emerge, while his friend returned to the shore alone. Following the report of his disappearance, search and rescue forces were deployed to the scene, including the Lehava unit, the national special rescue operations team of the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority.
Personnel from MADA who arrived at the scene stated: "We received a report about a child who went missing in a lake. We arrived with significant resources, including ambulances, motorcycles, and immediate response vehicles."
During the search, the child was recovered unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. "We immediately began performing resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and the administration of medication. We loaded him into a MADA intensive care ambulance and evacuated him to the trauma unit while in critical condition," the medics added.
