A 3-year-old boy was hospitalized in moderate condition following a drowning incident in a pool at a zimmer on Lotus Street in Eilat. United Hatzalah teams provided initial medical treatment at the scene before he was evacuated to Yoseftal Hospital.
Shmuel Aaronson, Moti Barsky, and Israel Horowitz, senior EMTs with United Hatzalah who were the first to arrive, stated: "We were informed that the 3-year-old boy had drowned in the pool of the zimmer where he was staying with his family. We provided initial medical treatment, including oxygen support, and he was then evacuated in stable condition to the trauma unit at Yoseftal Hospital. His condition is currently classified as moderate."
United Hatzalah urges the public to keep a close watch on children and never leave them unattended near pools, particularly at private homes or zimmers. The organization further recommends draining pools immediately after use to prevent future drowning accidents.
