This week's television lineup offers a compelling mix of documentaries and returning hit series, highlighted by the award-winning Israeli documentary "The Woman in White" airing in Israeli media.

The Woman in White in Israeli media

Directed by Emanuel Mayer, the acclaimed documentary explores the extraordinary life of Tamar Golan, who always dressed in white. Born in Haifa in 1933, Golan spent most of her career as a journalist for local media in African nations and the Arab world, later stationed in Paris. She built a vast network of personal connections with leaders in Africa and France, eventually serving as Israel's ambassador to Angola from 1994 to 2002.

Following her death in 2011, Mayer discovered private diaries, recordings, and photographs in her archives, investigating whether she operated as a Mossad agent or a courageous journalist and how she influenced regional diplomacy. Actress Dana Ivgy voices Golan's words in the film, which took top honors at the Docaviv festival.

On Yes VOD, "Dexter: Resurrection" returns for a second season of ten episodes starring Michael C. Hall. Dexter finds himself navigating a midlife crisis in New York while crossing paths with dangerous new characters played by Brian Cox and Dan Stevens, alongside returning stars like Uma Thurman and Krysten Ritter.

Meanwhile, illusionist Hezi Dean presents a new documentary series comparing his extreme endurance stunts to the legacy of Harry Houdini. Additionally, Yes VOD is releasing the American documentary series "Houdini: Back from the Dead," which utilizes artificial intelligence to recreate the legendary escape artist for a contemporary interview format.
