US President Donald Trump arrived at his New Jersey residence on Friday sporting a noticeably different hairstyle, prompting a swift wave of reactions across social media. The president appeared with a more ruffled look, an unusually dark shade of hair, and his signature side parting styled in the opposite direction.
The sudden aesthetic shift comes just weeks after observers began speculating online that Trump might be using new hairpieces to add volume to the thinning, grey-blonde areas at the back of his head.
Journalist Aaron Rupar questioned the new look on X, writing:
"What in the world is going on with Trump's hair?"
Media personality Yashar Ali shared airport photos of the president, adding:

Trump's hair has been a sensitive topic for years, forcing him to repeatedly address questions about his appearance. During a White House address on Thursday, Trump directly confronted the ongoing rumors:
"I don’t wear a wig."
He previously cited a 2024 campaign rally in Ohio as definitive proof of his natural hair, recalling that the severe wind conditions during the outdoor event would have easily dislodged any hairpiece.
The Biographer's Revelation
Joining the discussion, Trump's biographer Michael Wolff revealed on the Inside Trump's Head podcast that the president travels with a specialized portable hair-care kit. According to Wolff, the kit contains small hair attachments designed to match whatever shade his hair happens to be at any given time.
Wolff noted that the attachments are secured using a specific adhesive paste, adding:
"Whoever is responsible for fixing that hair is standing right next to the people with the nuclear codes."
According to the biographer, maintaining the president's hair has been a major, highly coordinated operation since his first term in office.
