Third consecutive day of strikes in Gaza: Hamas company commander eliminated in Khan Yunis

After a period of quiet, Israel's strikes in Gaza continue for the third consecutive day. The IDF announced that it struck a Hamas company commander in Khan Yunis today, Thursday, who was planning to carry out terror plots. According to the statement, "the terrorist was attacked from the air to remove the threat to the forces."
Palestinian sources reported one dead in a strike aimed at a person riding an electric bicycle in the Al-Amal neighborhood in western Khan Yunis. Two others were seriously wounded in this strike. Palestinian sources also reported one dead and several wounded in another strike in the west of Gaza City, in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, carried out using three missiles from a drone.
It was previously reported that the strike in Beit Lahia, in which a Hamas operative was eliminated, was carried out with the approval of the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir. This marks the first strike in Gaza carried out with the approval of the Chief of Staff, an action that was previously performed routinely, sometimes several times a day. By order of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, these operations were halted under American pressure.
According to sources, since the ceasefire, 514 terrorists have been killed in the Gaza sector and about 150 have been wounded. They further noted that the IDF attacked 790 targets during the ceasefire period, and that the "yellow line" has expanded since then.
"There is no policy of lack of motivation by the IDF to not thwart, but clear instructions from the political echelon within the framework of the negotiations," they said.
