Tomer from 'Hatunami' admits about his beloved: "There are things that cannot be faked"
Tomer Greenberg broke his silence in a surprising post about his relationship with Laiky off-camera, and admits what really happened between them the moment the production stopped filming.
The couples' decision in the season finale left viewers in great suspense, but it seems that Tomer Greenberg chose to make the strongest and most moving statement about their journey in his own words. After the broadcast, in which he and Laiky Glick decided to say "yes" and continue the relationship beyond the boundaries of the cameras, Tomer published a personal summary post that revealed the intimate and less discussed side of their shared journey.
In a post he published on social media, Tomer chose to focus precisely on the simple advice he received at the beginning of the journey, and wrote:
"'You will have so much fun together.' That is the only thing Gilad told me about my compatibility before the wedding. I expected him to tell me that we complete each other, that she is what my soul needs, but throughout the deep psychological process I forgot a little about the most important thing - that it will simply be fun. Wow, Gilad, how right you were. Laiky and I developed our own private language, which is a whole world. We devoured our time together, and enjoyed every moment. We were inseparable. True, our 42 days on the show were a whirlwind of emotions, with difficulties and hesitations. But the small moments in between, those that are not necessarily shown, were full of wide smiles and love for each other, private jokes, and in Laiky's case, a rolling and captivating laugh. I cannot yet tell what is with us today. You will have to see that later. But television or not - there are things that cannot be faked. I received a partner whose time with me is pure fun, and for that I am grateful."
The text by Tomer gives a new perspective on the season. Throughout the 42 days in front of the cameras, the connection between the two experienced quite a few upheavals, among other things when Tomer shared openly about his struggle with the psychological difficulty of combining physical intimacy with a romantic connection, which led to complex moments. But as Tomer clarifies in the post, alongside those difficulties that were examined in depth on screen, beneath the surface a mental connection, a private language, and a lot of shared humor were built that made them inseparable.
This special closeness between the two was also confirmed by their friend from the program, Noa Mozes, who revealed on social media what happened immediately after the filming in Spain. Noa told that the moment the cameras were turned off, Laiky and Tomer simply "ran away" together from the production to spend private quality time, while she and her partner served as a cover story for them.
Despite the positive decision at the decision-making ceremony and Tomer's words, the current relationship status of the two as of today is still kept a secret. We will have to continue to wait patiently for the official reunion episode to find out if the pure fun and the special connection that survived the filming days continue to hold up in real life as well.
