Designated Gaza territory for multinational force: Former Bnei Atzmon and Bedolah settlements

The designated entry area for a potential multinational force in the Gaza Strip has been identified. The force is expected to occupy the area of the former settlements of Bnei Atzmon and Bedolah in Gush Katif. This territory is located beyond the original 'yellow line' northwest of Rafah.
In recent weeks, IDF forces have been operating to expand control in this area, which has already been cleared by the military in preparation for a possible deployment. As of now, Israel holds 52% of the original yellow line and has taken control of additional sectors beyond it.
'We are not giving up on the yellow security line,' a security source told Channel 12 News. 'The multinational force, if there is one, will be able to occupy the new territory we have captured beyond the yellow line northwest of Rafah.'
Parallel to these preparations, Israel has instructed its forces not to seize additional territories and not to push the yellow line further.
Border Tensions
While political plans are taking shape, the security reality on the Gaza border remains tense. Yesterday, incendiary kites were identified arriving from the Gaza Strip near communities in the Gaza envelope. The security establishment believes Hamas is using these kites to test damage, with the intention of escalating to incendiary balloons, explosive devices, and potentially rocket fire. These events at the border fence correlate with reports from female observers regarding increased terrorist activity.
