Suheib Jabarin, 34, has been sentenced to three years in prison under a plea bargain after being convicted at the Tel Aviv District Court of involvement in a crime gang that plotted to assassinate rivals using explosive drones. Evidentiary difficulties led the prosecution and defense to reach an agreement involving nine defendants in total.

According to the amended indictment, Jabarin operated from a luxury hotel in Herzliya to target rival gang members amid a violent territorial dispute. The gang acquired drones intended to be fitted with fragmentation grenades and explosives to strike enemy compounds. Plans included targeting an associate of the rival gang to avenge a previous murder, as well as ambushing a senior rival figure who traveled in an armored vehicle by shooting at its tires. The plots were ultimately thwarted by police arrests before execution.

The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office filed indictments at the District Court. Jabarin's defense team identified evidentiary weaknesses in the case, resulting in a comprehensive plea agreement. Alongside Jabarin's three-year sentence, seven other defendants received prison terms ranging from 30 to 36 months, while a ninth defendant was sentenced to nine months of community service.
