USA: Man murders five people, including his partner and her family, then commits suicide

A 36-year-old man is suspected of murdering five people in a rural home outside Portland, Oregon — including his partner, her mother, her grandmother, and two friends — after which he took his own life.
The suspect, Benjamin Charles Parker, was found dead in his car in the city of Enumclaw in Washington state, about 301 kilometers north of the location where the five bodies were found in Forest Grove, Oregon. Police believe that Parker was the one who murdered the five and then committed suicide.
The victims were identified as Parker's partner, 26-year-old Stella Jade Kimsey; her 60-year-old mother, Roan Carla Kimsey; and her 85-year-old grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Kimsey. Additionally, Stella's close friend, 26-year-old Linsey May Haralson, and her partner, 27-year-old Alvin Raymond Cho, were killed.
Authorities stated that Roan Kimsey was the owner of the house, located about 48 kilometers west of Portland. She lived on the property with her daughter Stella and Parker.
The animals in the house also did not survive the incident: two cats and two dogs were found dead at the scene. Another cat was taken for veterinary care but was later euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. Authorities did not disclose how the humans and animals died.
The five bodies were found on Saturday, and on Sunday, authorities announced they had opened an investigation into the murders. Police noted that it was an exceptionally large and complex crime scene.
"I can say that in my 22 years here, I have not been involved in or witnessed a scene this complex, related to this type of investigation," said Sheriff Caprice Massey.
