Knesset member Tally Gotliv attacked Unit 8200 and the Intelligence Directorate this morning (Wednesday) in an interview with 103FM radio regarding a video they published to encourage the recruitment of Haredim.

"I will not be a partner in turning the Haredi public into a plague. The video reminded me of Germany," she said.

Later, when asked if she was really comparing the video to Nazi Germany, the Likud Knesset member said: "Yes, it reminded me of Auschwitz. Does it seem normal to you to make a video encouraging Haredim to enlist in the army?".

Later in the interview, Gotliv attacked Defense Minister Israel Katz over his decision to sign a confidentiality certificate, which paved the way for an indictment against her for exposing the role of Shikma Bressler's husband, a Shin Bet agent: "He is perpetuating the rule of the bureaucrats, he handed me over to the Attorney General who persecutes the right. Also, the release of Tal Yinon Dardik was done despite the real revolution that the Central Command commander made for Israel Katz," she said.

As mentioned, about three months ago Gotliv attacked Katz in light of his signing of the confidentiality certificate, when she turned to the Defense Minister's advisor and claimed that they were lying to Likud members and demanded to receive the letter that the Defense Ministry's legal advisor sent to the Shin Bet's legal advisor.

In the message, Gotliv wrote: "I am turning and demanding to receive the letter that the Defense Ministry's legal advisor sent to the Shin Bet's legal advisor. Furthermore, I clarify that as is known, Katz did not see the many materials on which he granted confidentiality! More terribly, you, his advisors, write that there was a fear of exposing the names of additional Shin Bet personnel, a claim that is nothing but false, since the names of Shin Bet employees are prohibited from publication by virtue of the Shin Bet Law and not by virtue of confidentiality."

According to her, "Katz strengthened Miara and granted confidentiality to Bressler, to Brothers in Arms, and to Miara! Unlike what was stated in your message to right-wing activists, Zini did not pressure Katz on the matter. Katz, contrary to the letter, did not hold a discussion on the essence of the materials and did not review them. Katz stabbed me in the back and the backs of the right-wing Likud members who understand the importance of the struggle against the rule of bureaucrats for the sake of right-wing governance."

Gotliv added in that same appeal to Katz's advisor: "What happened? What is urgent? Has Miara finished investigating everyone who harms the security of the state? Has she already investigated the leaker to N12 about the attack in Iran? Has she already investigated the leaker to Ronen Bergman? Has she already prosecuted the Military Advocate General? The main thing is that Israel Katz gave her me on a platter while strengthening the one who persecutes the right-wing government and fails it again and again."

The Knesset member signed off her words in the appeal with a sharp message: "Be careful with my honor and the honor of the Prime Minister who is also shocked by Katz's action. As mentioned, I will request the letter of the Defense Ministry's legal advisor. Thank you."
