Tally Gotliv: I would consider leaving Likud if there was an offer

MK Tally Gotliv wrote this evening (Monday) on her X account that she has not yet received an offer from another party, but if she had - she would have considered a move.

"I threw myself on the grenade for the PM and the right-wing government. If I had received a realistic offer from a party that would have respected my electoral power and my clear ability to be a minister in a position of great importance, in the name of my voters I would have considered it seriously. In the meantime, there is none."

Gotliv clarified that "I will not agree to be a doormat while I am conducting the stubborn struggle against the rule of the officials and the rampage of the Supreme Court in its outrageous rulings on diplomatic, military, and political matters."

"The PM took the advice of his entourage to carry out a targeted assassination of me in the primaries. In the battle of David against Goliath and thanks to the trust of the right-wing Likud members, I reached 12th place in the primaries, and because of the reserved spots, I am in 20th place."

The Likud MK added: "Unfortunately, the PM, as is his right, sidelined me from the Likud campaign. The campaign staff decided not to touch our duty to curb the power of the Supreme Court. The campaign staff continues to brief against me and present me as a weakening force in Likud. I was elected to lead to right-wing governance and to cut off the reckless conduct of the Supreme Court, which bought itself authority that is not its own and turned itself into a superior authority. The PM made up his mind not to allow me to be the Minister of Justice and not even the Chair of the Constitution Committee, and decided to push me to a hidden corner in the back. This is his right."
