New documents reveal troubling details regarding a stalker who broke into influencer Sophie Rain's Florida home, as she announces plans to hire professional security.
Stalking Incident Unfolds in Florida
In February 2025, American internet personality Sophie Rain and her friends returned to their rental home in Fort Lauderdale following the Super Bowl events. According to their accounts, they discovered a shattered glass door, an active alarm, and an intruder inside the house who claimed to be the new property owner. They immediately fled and called the police. A SWAT team arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect, identified as Litke, following a prolonged standoff.
Litke was charged with burglary, resisting an officer without violence, and providing false identification. According to NBC Miami, during his arrest, he gave officers the name Connor Rain, and during his initial court hearing, he claimed to be a student at Arizona State University—a claim questioned by the prosecution. The court prohibited him from contacting Rain or approaching her home. New documents have now revealed a troubling picture regarding his mental state.
Mental Health Concerns and Family Warnings
According to a report by a crisis center employee in South Bend, Indiana, Litke stated that he stopped taking his psychiatric medication in July 2025 and that he and Rain had shared an intense experience involving a blood pact. He also claimed he was still sending her money, at least 500 dollars, and wanted to leave Indiana to return to Florida to be with her. Documents show Litke's mother contacted the center multiple times due to concerns over his erratic behavior and inability to find help for him.
"This situation was very scary for me and my family," Rain told TMZ regarding the burglary. "I have never had a relationship with Litke, and any belief that there is a personal relationship between us is completely false."
Rain added that she hopes he receives the necessary treatment and support, but her priority remains her safety and the security of those around her. The publication comes as Rain recently announced she plans to start moving with professional security after a series of frightening incidents involving fans and stalkers.
