Mandate poll: Eisenkot opens a significant gap at the top from Likud - Bennett strengthens

A Channel 12 poll published this evening (Monday) indicates a change at the top of the political system: the Yashar party led by Gadi Eisenkot settles in first place with 24 mandates, after strengthening by one mandate compared to the previous poll. Likud led by Benjamin Netanyahu drops to 22 mandates and remains the second-largest party.

In third place is the Behad party led by Naftali Bennett, which strengthens to 15 mandates. The Democrats led by Yair Golan also record an increase and reach 11 mandates, while Yisrael Beiteinu led by Avigdor Lieberman rises to 10 mandates. Otzma Yehudit led by Itamar Ben Gvir also strengthens and receives 8 mandates according to the poll.

In the Haredi parties, no significant change was recorded. United Torah Judaism maintains its strength with 8 mandates, and Shas remains with 7 mandates, after dropping to this level in the previous poll. The Religious Zionism party led by Bezalel Smotrich also maintains its strength with 5 mandates. At the bottom of the mandate table are the two Arab parties. Hadash-Ta'al receives 5 mandates, as does Ra'am led by Mansour Abbas, which reaches 5 seats.

Outside the Knesset remain several parties that seek to position themselves as an additional alternative in the political system. The party of Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, which in recent polls managed to pass the electoral threshold, drops to only 2.7%. Balad led by Sami Abu Shehadeh receives 1.6%, a right-wing party led by Gilad Erdan receives 1.3%, and Benny Gantz's Blue and White remains with 0.8%. All are below the electoral threshold, which stands at 3.25%.

In the map of the blocs, a picture similar to that recorded in the previous poll is maintained. The anti-Netanyahu bloc reaches 70 mandates in total, of which 60 mandates are for the Zionist opposition parties and 10 mandates for the Arab parties. Conversely, the coalition parties together reach only 50 mandates.
