Sky Private Equity has agreed to acquire a 50% stake in Lee Bar, a prominent Israeli catering company owned by Miri and Yaakov Yifrah from Kiryat Gat, at a valuation of NIS 350 million.

Managed by Zvi Yochman and Nir Dagan, Sky will invest approximately NIS 170 million in the transaction. Half of the capital will be injected directly into the company to fuel its growth, while the remaining half will be paid out directly to the founders, Miri and Yaakov Yifrah.

Founded roughly 30 years ago as a small local restaurant in Kiryat Gat, Lee Bar has evolved into an institutional catering giant. The company currently generates annual revenues of approximately NIS 400 million and employs a workforce of around 1,400 people.

Lee Bar provides extensive catering and food services to major corporate and institutional clients across the country, including Osem-Nestle, Shufersal, Electra, the Israel Police, the IDF, the Israel Prison Service, and Meir Automotive.

This transaction follows recent market reports indicating that Sky is also engaged in advanced talks with Cellcom to divest its holdings in Icon Group—the parent company of the iDigital retail chain—at a valuation of approximately half a billion shekels, representing a premium of over 30% above its current stock market value.
