The Shin Bet issued an official statement regarding the investigation into suspected electoral integrity violations, emphasizing that the probe is targeted and does not cast doubt on the entire voting public. The agency clarified that the intelligence originates from its statutory mandate to counter foreign influence, independent of any political party, and that aside from Judge Solberg, no external figures had access to the data until the elections concluded.

The security service stressed that the investigation remains ongoing and cautioned against speculative statements regarding the nature of the suspicions. Once completed, the findings will be submitted directly to the Central Election Committee chairman. The Shin Bet operates strictly as a state organization under legal mandates, ensuring all actions are managed by professional and legal personnel without political bias.

Following approval by the election committee chairman, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Yesh Atid party leader Gadi Eisenkot, and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid were personally briefed on the core suspicions by the head of the Shin Bet. Following the briefing, Yair Lapid stated that a review of the material confirms there is no risk to or undermining of the election results, and no impediment to swearing in the Knesset.
