An Israeli developer who initially built a financial tracking app to manage his own military salary has scaled the platform to over 30,000 active users. Shahar Bador developed the application, named "Sekh Li", completely free of charge to help users track expenses without subscription fees.

Scaling with AI Agents

Following its initial launch, Bador received massive traffic and user feedback requesting features such as joint accounts, income tracking, and recurring expenses. To manage development efficiently as a solo creator, Bador built a custom workflow utilizing a fleet of AI agents.

"Today I barely write code," Bador explained. "I built an entire working environment of Claude agents, each responsible for its own domain: development, quality assurance, code review, debugging, customer support, content, and even graphic design."

New Features and Business Model

Over the past year and a half, these AI capabilities have allowed Bador to push more than 35 distinct features. Key integrations now include automated Apple Pay transaction imports, Siri voice commands, multi-currency support, and net interest calculators.

Despite the rapid growth and top rankings in the App Store financial charts, the application remains entirely free. Bador currently finances the server costs out of pocket, emphasizing that user data will never be sold and any future monetization will strictly focus on delivering enhanced user value.
