Security Officials Slam West Bank Coordinators Over Tel Aviv Truck Protest
West Bank security coordinators drove a convoy of Ministry of Defense Toyota trucks to Tel Aviv to protest a Shin Bet investigation, drawing sharp criticism from defense officials.
Security officials sharply criticized dozens of West Bank security coordinators for driving a convoy of white Toyota pickup trucks to the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv on Sunday.
The coordinators protested an ongoing Shin Bet investigation involving a local security coordinator and an IDF officer suspected of security offenses. A gag order remains in effect for the case.
Authorities condemned the use of Ministry of Defense-funded vehicles for an unauthorized protest in the Tel Aviv area. The trucks are officially allocated solely for regional defense and emergency response in West Bank settlements.
