This Saturday's television lineup in Israel offers a rich mix of thought-provoking local documentary filmmaking, beloved family animation, and highly anticipated Hollywood horror releases across major streaming platforms.

Ideological Extremes: 'The Match' on Kan 11

At 21:30, Kan 11 will broadcast Noga Netzer's documentary 'The Match' (Hgprur). The film focuses on Zion Cohen, a retiree and member of Kibbutz Merom Golan, who decided to transition his ideological struggle against the religious establishment into planned criminal action.

In his personal diary, Cohen wrote:

"I am the match that will ignite the fire."

For months, Cohen gathered intelligence on religious institutions, learned lockpicking, and manufactured improvised explosive devices. In May 2020, he planted six explosive devices at five rabbinical courts and religious councils in Ashdod, Kfar Saba, Tel Aviv, and Petah Tikva. According to the court's ruling, he selected times and locations to minimize the risk of human casualties while maximizing public resonance. Cohen was convicted of arson and weapons manufacturing, receiving a three-year prison sentence. The documentary traces how a citizen with no prior criminal record crossed the line into domestic extremism.

Family Favorites: 'Phineas and Ferb' on Disney+

On Disney+, ten new episodes (11-20) of the revived fifth season of 'Phineas and Ferb' are now available. The stepbrothers continue to maximize their summer vacation with impossibly grand inventions, while Candace attempts to bust them. Meanwhile, Perry the Platypus maintains his double life as Agent P, thwarting the schemes of Dr. Doofenshmirtz under the guidance of original creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh.

Feature Films: 'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' and 'MaXXXine'

Available on Yes VOD, Hot VOD, Next TV, Sting TV, and Partner TV, Blumhouse's horror sequel 'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' returns to the screen. A year after the nightmare at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Mike and Vanessa try to shield 11-year-old Abby from the animatronics, but her return to the venue unleashes a new wave of terror.

On Netflix, Mia Goth stars in 'MaXXXine', the final chapter of Ti West's acclaimed 'X' horror trilogy. Set in 1980s Hollywood, adult film star Maxine Minx pursues mainstream fame, but her ambitions are threatened by a serial killer stalking Los Angeles and secrets from her past in Texas.

Additionally, Netflix has added library titles including 'Bee Movie' (2007) and M. Night Shyamalan's classic thriller 'The Sixth Sense' (1999).

Prime-time reality programming continues at 21:30 with 'Master Chef' on Keshet 12 and 'The Voice' on Reshet 13.
