The Big Premiere: "The Escape"
Airing at 21:30 on Keshet 12, this eight-part drama stars Yehuda Levi, Mark Ivanir, and Ido Tako. Set deep in the jungles of Colombia, the plot follows an extreme ultra-Orthodox cult led by "The Tzadik" (Ivanir). His son Yoel (Tako) dreams of escaping with his wife Feigy (Naya Bienstock) and young son. When the plot is exposed, Yoel flees alone and enlists Carmeli (Levi), a tortured search-and-rescue operative with a past in the "Mossad", to help rescue his family. Filmed in Colombia, Georgia, and Israel, the series also features Maor Schwitzer, Lia Elalouf, Itay Turgeman, and Ben Sultan.
