Sara Netanyahu threatened a million-shekel defamation lawsuit against Channel 13 journalist Raviv Drucker over an upcoming investigative report regarding PMO security.
Sara Netanyahu has issued a sharp legal warning to journalist Raviv Drucker and the investigative program "HaMakor" on Channel 13, demanding the immediate halt of a broadcast concerning Alon Haliva, head of the Prime Minister's Office security division.
Her legal counsel warned that if the report airs, a defamation lawsuit of at least one million shekels will be filed alongside a criminal complaint. The letter dismissed the claims raised in the program's inquiry as a gross distortion of reality and an absolute lie.
The response addresses key allegations, including the replacement of a window in Caesarea following a hostile drone strike as a security necessity, and renovations on Gaza Street which were allegedly approved in advance by professional echelons. Furthermore, the letter defends security arrangements abroad and accuses the program of exposing sensitive security information and acting with bad faith by imposing an unreasonable deadline for response.
