Samsung has introduced its latest foldable flagship devices, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8, combining hardware and software to offer a professional mobile studio experience.
Advanced Camera System and Lighting Control
Professional photography requires precise hardware integration. For the first time in the Galaxy Z Fold series, both devices feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera designed to capture expansive scenes in a single frame.
• Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra includes a triple-camera setup featuring a 200MP wide-angle camera for high-detail captures and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom for portrait depth.
• Galaxy Z Fold8 offers a dual 50MP system, comprising a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, complemented by a 7.6-inch main display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
In low-light conditions, Samsung's Nightography utilizes advanced AI Image Signal Processing (ISP) to minimize digital noise while preserving natural skin tones and contrast.
AI-Powered Production Tools
The foldable form factor enables unique software features driven by artificial intelligence. The FanCam function acts as a personal video editor, allowing users to select a specific subject in any recorded video and keep them automatically centered using Galaxy AI.
Dual Preview gives photographers complete control by displaying real-time framing on the outer screen, ensuring optimal results on the first take.
Additionally, Dual Recording on the Galaxy Z Fold8 captures footage simultaneously from both front and rear cameras, merging the perspectives into a split-video format. Photo Assist further streamlines editing by providing side-by-side comparisons of original and edited frames to easily rearrange compositions and remove unwanted elements.
