According to Politico, Germany is already preparing hospitals for a conflict scenario, Lithuania has updated its evacuation plans, and NATO forces are conducting exercises in the Baltic region alongside extensive drills by the Belarusian military near the Lithuanian border. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Moscow could launch drones or missiles into the territory of NATO member states supporting Ukraine in the coming months.
French President Emmanuel Macron urgently convened party leaders and potential 2027 presidential candidates to discuss the situation in Ukraine, Iran, and the worsening energy crisis. Macron described Tusk's warnings as well-founded and announced a new plan to protect critical infrastructure.
