Gibuy Holdings Embezzlement Suspect Extradited from Portugal to Israel
Former Gibuy Holdings manager Eyal Rosen was extradited from Portugal to Israel on suspicion of embezzling over 9 million shekels and money laundering.

Eyal Rosen, a former manager at the public company Gibuy Holdings, was extradited today from Portugal to Israel on suspicion of embezzling more than 9 million shekels from company funds. Rosen is a key suspect in a high-profile case investigated by the Israel Securities Authority's investigations department, intelligence, and trade control.
The State Attorney's International Department announced his extradition this morning, noting that Rosen allegedly used sophisticated fraudulent methods to steal funds and subsequently launder them. The investigation also indicates that he concealed his actions, causing misleading details to be included in the company's financial reports to investors.
Rosen fled Israel in 2022 before the Securities Authority launched an open investigation against him. Following his arrest in Portugal, the International Department worked alongside Interpol to secure his return. He faces charges including theft by an authorized person, aggravated fraud, corporate document falsification, and money laundering.
