Raviv Drucker starred in the Likud campaign — and sent a jab at Netanyahu on live broadcast
Raviv Drucker, considered one of Benjamin Netanyahu's harshest critics, was surprised to find himself in the Prime Minister's propaganda campaign and was quick to respond on live television.
Against the backdrop of the approaching elections and the propaganda campaigns of Israeli parties, many viewers were exposed to a new video published by the Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which journalist Raviv Drucker stars.
In the footage distributed on social media, Drucker praises the Prime Minister and refers to his relationship with US President Donald Trump. At the same time, the journalist, who is considered one of Netanyahu's harshest critics, notes that Netanyahu continues to fight for Israel despite the many challenges.
Recall that the Channel 13 presenter was a guest on Itai Segal's podcast from the All In podcast network and expressed his position regarding the nature of Netanyahu's conduct, his firm stance against media attacks, his various achievements, and the growing tension with the US President following the Iran deal issue.
"You can't take that away from him. A person who gets up every morning, shakes off the dust of yesterday's loss, and goes to fight," said Drucker. Regarding his relationship with Donald Trump, the journalist said: "The fact that Bibi managed to drag an American president, which no one else managed to do, is a crazy achievement. No prime minister has managed to do that. No one has managed to drag an American president into a war with Iran."
On the program "Azor Bechira" (Election Zone) on Channel 13, the panel members discussed the video distributed by the Likud party. "They have reached the bottom of the barrel. They are using you as propaganda," one of the panelists told Drucker.
Finally, the Channel 13 presenter addressed the things he said in the podcast: "It was indeed a crazy achievement of Netanyahu to drag Donald Trump into this action, but why did he drag him? Did he drag him into something that serves us? Because in the end, when we understand the delusional plan for regime change, it doesn't look like that. Things were not taken out of context, they were given exactly in their context. There were other things I said about Netanyahu there."
