Indictment Filed Against Two Suspects for Violent Kiosk Assault in Ramat HaSharon
An indictment was filed against two central Israel residents for a violent kiosk assault in Ramat HaSharon, causing bodily harm and leading to police detention requests.
An indictment was filed yesterday (Thursday) against two residents from central Israel, one from Ramat HaSharon and the other from Or Yehuda, for violently assaulting a citizen at a kiosk in Ramat HaSharon and causing him actual bodily harm. Along with the indictment, police requested the suspects be detained until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
According to the indictment, on August 31, 2026, during the late evening hours, a citizen at a kiosk reported a severe assault taking place in central Ramat HaSharon. Following an argument that broke out at the scene, the two jointly attacked the victim using plastic baskets, punches, and kicks, continuing to strike him even after he was knocked to the ground. As a result of the assault, the victim suffered injuries and a bleeding head cut, and was evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital.
Officers from the Glilot station in the Yarkon region arrived at the scene, launched an investigation, gathered evidence, and tracked down the identity of the two suspects. The two were arrested by Glilot station detectives and Border Police fighters in accordance with arrest warrants issued against them by the court, and yesterday, upon the conclusion of the investigation, the indictment was filed against them.
