Rakefet Russak-Aminoach appointed as a director at the American cyber company Rubrik
Former Bank Leumi CEO Rakefet Russak-Aminoach has been appointed to the board of directors of the American cyber company Rubrik. She joins a group of global technology and investment industry leaders.

Rakefet Russak-Aminoach, former CEO of Bank Leumi, has been appointed as a director at the American cyber company Rubrik. She will serve on the board of directors alongside senior figures in the global technology and investment industry, including John Thompson, former chairman of Microsoft, who led the search committee for the selection of Satya Nadella as the company's CEO; Ravi Mhatre, founding partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners; and Mark McLaughlin, chairman of Qualcomm and former CEO of Palo Alto Networks.
Russak-Aminoach, a managing partner at Team8, founded LeumiTech and the digital bank Pepper. Today, as part of her work at Team8, she leads the establishment of and investment in fintech and infrastructure companies for organizations. Concurrently, she serves on the board of directors of BNY, one of the world's largest financial corporations. Until 2025, Russak-Aminoach served as chair of the chip unicorn Hailo, which raised over $300 million, encountered cash flow difficulties, and was eventually sold to Microchip for a small percentage of the investment.
Rubrik is an American information security and AI company that maintains a development center in Israel, established following the acquisition of the startup Laminar in 2023. The company is currently traded on the New York Stock Exchange with a valuation of approximately $22 billion, following a significant rise in its stock price recently.
