Rahat Police Raid Uncovers Major Weapons Cache and Arrests Five Suspects
Police in Rahat raided a major criminal weapons cache, seizing a shotgun, Glock 17 pistols, ammunition, and arresting five suspects in a series of targeted operations.

During a targeted police raid in Rahat, law enforcement discovered a significant criminal weapons cache, seizing a shotgun, a Glock 17 pistol, magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Five suspects were arrested and taken in for questioning.
The operation was conducted as part of an ongoing proactive campaign by the Southern District against illegal weapons, shooting incidents, and criminal elements in Rahat. Police forces continue their focused efforts to remove illegal arms from the streets and enhance public safety.
In a separate operational activity at the entrance to the city, SAAR Brigade fighters intercepted a speeding vehicle. During a search of the three residents from Ramla, officers discovered a knife and another Glock 17 pistol with ammunition. All three occupants were arrested.
"The SAAR Brigade operates with determination alongside all district units to intercept illegal weapons," stated Superintendent Mati Tzarfati, operations officer for the SAAR Brigade. "We will continue acting proactively against criminal elements to ensure resident safety."
