A violent brawl broke out on Tuesday among voters waiting in line at a polling station in Rahat, driven by heavy congestion and long queues in the Bedouin sector.

According to available reports, the altercation erupted between members of two rival families who happened to be waiting in the same queue.

Police reported that four individuals involved in the incident have been taken into custody, and further arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues.

In a separate incident earlier in the day, violence was reported outside a polling station on Fichman Street in Holon. A young man physically assaulted activists from The Democrats (HaDemokratim) party with punches before fleeing the scene.

Meanwhile, southern district police arrested three residents from the Bedouin diaspora near Segev Shalom and Ar'ara in the Negev on suspicion of electoral bribery. Investigators suspect the trio offered cash to citizens in exchange for voting for the Ra'am party in the Knesset elections.

During subsequent searches at the suspects' homes, police seized envelopes containing tens of thousands of shekels in cash, along with ballot slips and other incriminating evidence.

In response to the arrests, Ra'am filed an official complaint with the Central Election Committee. The party claimed it was being unfairly targeted, alleging that its activists were arbitrarily detained and its ballot slips were destroyed or hidden.
