"Let them deal with the consequences": Shefi Paz on the Islamization of Europe
Social activist Shefi Paz addressed the waves of migration in Europe, accusing European authorities of facilitating an "invasion." She also shared her perspective on Israel's success in curbing illegal migration.
In recent days, Europe, and especially Spain, is waking up to the harsh reality of waves of migrants, mostly Muslims, who are flooding it time and again. The social activist known for her struggle against illegal infiltrators in south Tel Aviv, Shefi Paz, addressed the phenomenon of the Islamization of Europe today (Monday) in an interview with Ido Tauber on the afternoon news program.
Among other things, she blamed Europe itself and claimed:
"They want them. Not long ago, I heard a Spanish leader state that this is the best thing that has happened to Spain — so let them deal with the consequences."
Paz described the fatal — or perhaps intentional — mistake of European policy:
"Let's talk about the real issue, and the real issue is not fences or walls — but the future. Now notice what Spain did: Spain announced that it is going to naturalize 500,000 illegal infiltrators. Immediately after that, the invasion resumed — it is not just an assault, it is an invasion. Because when there is a future, people come."
Paz shared the complex reality that the veteran residents of south Tel Aviv face:
"The images are not new to me. In south Tel Aviv it is a bit smaller, we don't have 60,000 people flooding the streets every day here. That was many years ago, it is no longer. But on a small scale, for us, it is the same: drunks, drug addicts, stabbings, fights, the displacement of residents from the neighborhoods, and more."
The social activist presented her explanation for the Israeli success in stopping infiltration in recent years:
"Israel is the only country in the West that has managed to both completely stop infiltration through the border in Sinai and also remove illegal infiltrators, almost two-thirds of the number of adults. The fence stopped the penetration at a certain moment, but what prevents them from staying is not the fence, but the fact that they have no present here and no future, not for the adults and not for the children. They cannot acquire a profession, drive, or build a life here — and they understand that. I take credit for that. Although I do not have the ability to physically put an illegal infiltrator on a plane, my ability is to act decisively to deny them a horizon — and to block any attempt to integrate, assimilate, or open new paths for them."
