Prince Harry Reportedly Plans Reconciliation Steps With British Royal Family
Prince Harry is reportedly planning a reconciliation move with the British royal family, preparing to offer apologies to King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry is reportedly planning a significant step toward reconciling with the British royal family after months of intense estrangement. According to reports in the British newspaper The Times, the Duke of Sussex is taking initial steps to apologize to his sister-in-law, Princess Kate Middleton, his brother, Prince William, and his father, King Charles.
A family insider told the newspaper that Harry is desperate to make things work this time and is acting with special consideration toward Kate. The deep tension between them largely stems from revelations in Harry's memoir, Spare, in which he cast Middleton in a negative light over two notable incidents: a Nazi-themed costume he wore to a party decades ago and a widely discussed dispute regarding bridesmaid dresses ahead of his wedding to Meghan Markle.
According to the reports, Harry's plan involves taking his family's busy schedule into account. He is reportedly aware that the King is set to travel for a Commonwealth heads of government meeting, while Kate and William are scheduled to visit India, and he is planning his own activities accordingly to avoid overshadowing them. This move is seen as an effort to avoid competing headlines and demonstrate respect for their official duties.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to travel to India in November for the Earthshot Prize ceremony, a prestigious environmental event. Meanwhile, King Charles is set to participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. Observers note that Harry is attempting to show he still considers himself part of the family, albeit from a distance, and is willing to make an effort to repair the fractured relationships.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has maintained a strained relationship with her own family for years, particularly her 82-year-old father, Thomas Markle. The two have been estranged since 2018, the year she married Prince Harry. The rift deepened after her father staged paparazzi photos prior to the wedding and subsequently suffered two heart attacks that prevented him from attending the ceremony and walking his daughter down the aisle. He has not met his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, since.
Thomas Markle recently made headlines again following a complaint filed by his son, Thomas Markle Jr., with police in the Philippines and the United States. The son alleged that he found hundreds of explicit images and videos of minors on devices belonging to his father. Thomas Sr., who is currently recovering in a rehabilitation center in Florida following a leg amputation, strongly denies the allegations, calling them falsehoods designed to harm him. Police in the Philippines have opened an investigation into the complaint.
The estrangement between Prince Harry and his older brother, Prince William, also persists, exacerbated by Harry's departure from royal duties and the publication of his memoir. In an interview with GQ magazine, Harry expressed a desire to reconcile with his brother, though he claimed that certain individuals are working against a resolution. He emphasized that given everything happening in the world, family reconciliation remains a paramount priority.
