Kristaps Porzingis Contemplates Future Amid Health Struggles
NBA star Kristaps Porzingis is reportedly considering his basketball future as the Golden State Warriors explore potential trade options. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the 31-year-old Latvian center is battling recurring symptoms of POTS syndrome, which affects the autonomic nervous system and causes dizziness and fatigue.
Warriors Face Uncertainty Ahead of the New Season
The report follows weeks of uncertainty, with Porzingis missing training camp and preseason games indefinitely. Last week, the Warriors announced he would remain sidelined following meetings with General Manager Mike Dunleavy and Dr. Rick Celebrini.
I am working with doctors and specialists to get back to full health as fast as possible. I feel better and better, I just need to stay patient and I believe I will feel great again soon, Porzingis wrote on social media.
Despite health concerns, Golden State signed him to a two-year, $40 million contract in the summer. He averaged 16.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 15 games last season.
