Not just Lonnie Walker: Another Super League player signs an NBA contract

A significant number of players with NBA experience have arrived in the basketball Super League this season, primarily joining the major clubs. However, within 24 hours, two players who competed in our arenas last season have moved to the world's top league.

Following Lonnie Walker's move from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Denver, it was announced overnight (between Thursday and Friday) that Terrell Brown Jr., who finished the season with Maccabi Ramat Gan, has signed a contract with the Utah Jazz. According to reports, the contract is not guaranteed, but Brown Jr. will attempt to earn a spot on the Jazz's final roster.

Brown Jr. (28, 1.85m) played for two years at Seattle University, earning a spot on the All-WAC First Team. He later moved to Arizona and then Washington for one season each, where he broke out and was selected to the All-Pac-12 First Team. He began his professional career with the Memphis Hustle in the G League, later moving to the Greensboro Swarm, with whom he won the G League championship this season. Simultaneously, he played in Mexican and Puerto Rican leagues during the summer months.

Following the conclusion of the Summer League, Maccabi Ramat Gan sought reinforcements after all their foreign players departed Israel due to the war. They successfully convinced Brown Jr. to join; he played eight games for the team, averaging 18.1 points, 5.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game. Last week, he maintained his momentum by leading his team, "Davis Steel," to victory in the TBT tournament and a $2 million prize, hitting a game-winning three-pointer in the semifinals.
