Orel Tsabari Shares Insights After 11 Days Alone With His Son
Actor Orel Tsabari spent 11 days alone parenting his son Adam, gaining deep appreciation for single parents and reservists' spouses before his partner returned.

Actor Orel Tsabari recently experienced a particularly intense chapter of fatherhood when he spent 11 full days completely alone at home with his young son, Adam, while his partner Sivan was away.
Eleven Days of Fatherhood
Reflecting on the experience, Tsabari shared candidly with his followers about the challenges and joys of managing the household routine entirely on his own. "I spent 11 days alone with Adam at home, it was undoubtedly bonding, challenging, educational, and fun! I know Shmulikipod and Corn Hot by heart, even in my sleep," he wrote.
A New Perspective on Solitary Parenting
However, between reading children's books and managing daily chores, the period made Tsabari reflect deeply on those for whom this reality is a permanent way of life rather than a brief 11-day stint. He directed his spotlight toward IDF reservists' and career soldiers' spouses, as well as single parents.
I couldn't help but think of all those reservists' wives, or career soldiers, and husbands too, whose partners are away from home all the time, and simply salute them, truly wow! Or generally single mothers or fathers, by choice or other circumstances, it is truly superpowers!
The Return Home
Yet, after all the bonding, the emotional connection built over 11 days, and the memorized stories, the moment arrived when Sivan finally returned home. Tsabari humorously summed up the dramatic shift in family dynamics, proving that some loyalties remain unshakable.
"But rest assured, the second Sivan came back, he went right back to ignoring me," Tsabari concluded with a smile.
