Ondas Secures $165 Million in New Defense Orders, Surpassing $270 Million
Ondas announced over $165 million in new defense orders, bringing its total bookings since June 30 to over $270 million, driven by strong demand for autonomous systems.
Ondas Holdings, a provider of advanced autonomous systems, next-generation technologies, and services for defense and security, announced Wednesday that it has secured cumulative orders exceeding $165 million from the second half of August through October 1.
Major European Contract and Backlog Growth
The announcement follows Monday's disclosure regarding a $56 million order for Electronic Safe & Arm Devices (ESAD) destined for a European loitering munition program. Company officials stated that the order marks a significant milestone in Ondas' precision-strike operations, expanding its footprint in the rapidly growing market for loitering munitions and next-generation precision weapon systems.
Combined with approximately $105 million in orders received earlier in the third quarter—previously reported during the August 13 earnings call—Ondas' total order intake since June 30 surpasses $270 million. These contracts substantially increase the company's order backlog and reinforce revenue visibility heading into 2027.
Product Milestones and US Market Prospects
Management noted that the orders originate from multiple markets and diverse product categories, reflecting robust demand for autonomous defense technologies. Simultaneously, several proprietary systems have achieved critical customer testing milestones, including the ULTRA platform—positioned to become an official procurement program for the U.S. Department of Defense—and the IonStrike system, widely known as the "Shahed Killer".
"The scale and diversity of these orders reflect the growing demand we are seeing for Ondas' products. ULTRA and IonStrike have already secured significant orders and advanced through customer evaluation processes that we believe could open up significantly larger markets," said Eric Broockman, Chairman and CEO of Ondas.
Company leadership emphasized that these developments support corporate strategy to build Ondas into a broad-based platform across defense and autonomous sectors, delivering mission-critical technologies to the United States and allied nations.
