Massive offer ready: Enzo Fernandez nears Manchester City move

Manchester City is preparing for a massive revolution in its midfield. Alongside reports that Barcelona will submit a new offer for Rodri approaching 70 million euros, and the impending sale of Tijjani Reijnders in a major deal to Saudi Arabia, sources in Italy report that an offer for Enzo Fernandez is already prepared.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City's bid for Enzo Fernandez stands at 120 million pounds. This comes a day after Chelsea made it clear that this is the required amount to allow the Argentine midfielder to leave, setting a deadline of Friday at 17:00 for the submission of the offer.
25-year-old Fernandez may reunite with Enzo Maresca, who worked with him at Chelsea and currently coaches Manchester City. The Argentine midfielder is under contract with Chelsea until 2032, but in recent months has hinted more than once that he wants to leave—especially in a season where Chelsea will not participate in European competition—and the opportunity to join forces with Maresca is particularly appealing to him.
Fernandez is expected to fill the void left by Rodri, who is on his way to Barcelona, and Tijjani Reijnders, who is expected to be sold to Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch midfielder will be sold for 61 million euros and will sign a four-season contract with an option for an additional year at the Saudi club.
28-year-old Reijnders, who still needs to undergo medical examinations, is set to earn a total salary of over 100 million euros over the next five years. Last season, he recorded 50 appearances for Manchester City, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
