Ofer Winter strengthens: son of legendary fighter joins

The political system is at the height of agitation, with only a few days left until the official closing of the lists for the Central Elections Committee on September 7. While the various parties are completing final mergers, the 'Amcha Yisrael' movement, led by Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, registers a new and prominent member who brings with him a rich security and settlement legacy.

Social activist Moshe Har-Zion, son of the legendary fighter and hero of Israel Meir Har-Zion (of blessed memory), announced officially on Tuesday his joining of Winter's party. Har-Zion, who currently lives at the 'Ahuzat Shoshana' farm in the Lower Galilee, is known as the founder of the 'Artzi' movement, which works to protect state lands, strengthen Israeli agriculture, and fight crime in the area. In the past, Har-Zion expressed public support for the 'Derech Eretz' party of Yoaz Hendel and Zvika Hauser, and now he chooses to return to the forefront of political action.

Moshe Har-Zion stated upon the report of his joining:

"I am happy to join the 'Amcha Yisrael' party led by Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter. Winter represents the values I grew up on and believe in: defeating the enemy and settling our land. I intend to represent in the party the people of the land, agriculture, and the rural space. I believe in the great importance of new forces entering the political field, into positions of influence, especially after October 7. The 'Amcha Yisrael' party represents this in the best way."
