Oded Schfirer, Director General of the Israel Securities Authority, announced his resignation on Thursday after serving seven years in the role and 25 years at the agency.
Schfirer joined the ISA in 2001, holding various key positions including deputy head of investigations, head of the investigations unit, and general secretary, before becoming its first-ever Director General in 2019.
ISA Chairman Efi Singer praised Schfirer's extensive contributions to shaping the regulatory body's professional standards and modernization.
