Screenwriter Meni Assayag revealed on the web a surprising gesture by journalist and anchor Neve Dromi, after he said she called him regarding a matter that did not require an apology at all.

Assayag shared the details today on the social network X, without revealing what was behind the call. According to him, Dromi was concerned that he might have been hurt or offended by the incident, and therefore decided to call him to reconcile and apologize.

'How charming is Neve Dromi: there was some matter I won't detail, and she was concerned that I might have been hurt or offended, and then she called to reconcile and apologize for something that didn't even require an apology,' wrote Assayag. He concluded the post with a compliment to Dromi: 'A principled and dear Jewish woman.'

The post received many supportive reactions from users, who praised Dromi for her conduct. One commenter wrote: 'It's lucky we have her,' 'She is a real princess.'

Another commenter addressed Dromi's conduct in the broader context of the media world and wrote: 'It's fun to know that there are also such people, or rather, such journalists.'

Thus, without revealing the details of the incident that led to the call, Assayag managed to bring to the agenda Dromi's personal gesture and her choice to reach out to him directly to ensure he was not hurt.
