National Insurance to Advance November Allowance Payments to November 26
The National Insurance Institute of Israel is moving November's major allowance payments to Thursday, November 26, because the regular 28th date falls on a Saturday. Billions of shekels in disability, old-age, and survivor benefits will reach hundreds of thousands of households ahead of the weekend.

Hundreds of thousands of households across Israel will receive their upcoming National Insurance Institute allowances two days ahead of schedule this November.
While long-term allowances are routinely disbursed on the 28th of every month, this date falls on a Saturday in November. Because the interbank clearing system does not operate on Saturdays, the payment date has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 26, to prevent any financial delays for beneficiaries.
This early disbursement ensures that vulnerable populations—for whom these stipends frequently serve as their primary or sole source of income—can access their funds ahead of the weekend without waiting for the business week to resume.
Billions of shekels will be transferred on November 26 to recipients of various disability benefits. This includes a full general disability allowance of approximately 4,711 shekels per month for individuals with a disability rating of 75% or higher, alongside special services grants and disabled child benefits.
Additionally, old-age pensions—ranging from a baseline of about 1,838 shekels for a single person up to roughly 2,757 shekels with maximum seniority increments—and survivor benefits will be distributed. Payments will also go out to work injury victims, alimony recipients through the National Insurance Institute, as well as mobility, nursing care, and Prisoners of Zion allowances.
This adjustment concludes a busy schedule of November payment and reporting dates managed by the National Insurance Institute. Employment-support benefits, including unemployment payments reaching up to 12,769 shekels gross per month alongside income support, were distributed on Thursday, November 12. Monthly child allowances of 173 shekels for the first child and 219 shekels for the second through fourth children, together with 'Savings for Every Child' deposits of about 57 shekels per month, are scheduled for Friday, November 20. Furthermore, employer and self-employed reporting and payments for National Insurance and health insurance contributions for October are due on Sunday, November 15.
Beneficiaries are advised to monitor their bank accounts to verify the early arrival of these funds, which provide crucial financial breathing room for managing end-of-month expenses.
