Antisemitic display in Washington: 'Israel murders children' and a figure of Netanyahu dancing on blood
Blood libel in the heart of the US capital: extremists turned the street opposite the Israeli embassy into a scene of incitement, including signs accusing Israel of murdering children and 'Israeli control over Washington'.
A shocking antisemitic display took place opposite the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., as extremists turned the street into a repulsive scene of hatred toward Jews and blood libels against Israel in the heart of the United States capital.
In footage from the demonstration published by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), liquid simulating blood was poured on the sidewalk. A figure of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was displayed 'dancing' on the blood, alongside hate signs such as 'Israel murders children' and 'Expose Israeli control over Washington', as well as mock graves and dolls soaked in red paint.
This event joins a worrying global wave of hostility; in the past week alone, the movement documented approximately 127 antisemitic incidents around the world, bringing the total to over 4,280 incidents since the beginning of the year.
Sacha Roytman, CEO of the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), stated:
'This display in the heart of Washington, outside the Israeli embassy, is not legitimate criticism but rather direct incitement and pure hatred of Jews. Our weekly data proves that this is not an isolated event but part of a dangerous global wave of antisemitism.'
