Mikel Arteta Signs New Contract to Stay at Arsenal Until 2030
Mikel Arteta has officially signed a new contract extension with Arsenal, keeping the Spanish manager at the club until the summer of 2030 following a historic title-winning season.

Mikel Arteta officially signed a new contract with Arsenal on Wednesday, following an in-principle agreement reached last month. The Spanish manager, who led the Gunners to their first title in 22 years last season, will remain at the club until at least the summer of 2030.
Arteta was appointed Arsenal manager in December 2019, and last season became the seventh manager in the club's history to win a league title. This marked Arsenal's 14th league championship and their fourth in the Premier League era.
"It is a huge privilege to continue my journey at the club and work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal," Arteta said after signing. "This club is special, in its character and the feeling it gives you. We have already built a special bond and created memories that will last a lifetime, and the exciting thing is that this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together."
The manager added: "I am grateful to Stan and Josh for their trust and support, and feel deeply honored to lead the club during such a special period in its 140-year history. This is a moment of great pride for me and my family."
Arteta has already managed 361 matches for Arsenal across all competitions, boasting a 62.05 win percentage—the highest of any permanent manager in the club's history. His coaching staff have also extended their contracts in alignment with the new deal.
