Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev advanced to the final of the Hangzhou tournament in China on Monday, setting up a head-to-head clash for the title. Medvedev defeated Roman Safiullin 5:7, 4:6, while Rublev overcame French player Kyrian Jacquet 6:7 (0), 1:6.
This will be the second time the two Russians face each other in a career final, with Medvedev leading their overall head-to-head record 2:7. Medvedev reached his 44th career final, whereas Rublev secured his 31st final and notched his 400th career victory.
