After more than two years, Kylian Mbappe has put an end to the harassment saga involving Paris Saint-Germain. The Real Madrid forward withdrew the complaint he filed against his former club, and the investigation launched in its wake has been closed.

The affair began in the summer of 2023 after Mbappe announced he would not extend his contract in Paris. The club dropped him from the squad for several weeks amid efforts to prevent him from leaving for free at the end of his deal. He was later reinstated and returned to play under Luis Enrique.

After leaving PSG and joining Real Madrid, Mbappe initiated legal proceedings on multiple fronts in May 2025, which included a workplace harassment complaint over the period he was sidelined from the first team.

It has now been revealed that Mbappe later withdrew the complaint, and the investigation was closed in May due to insufficient evidence and the fact that the proceedings no longer had his support.

The financial battle between the parties, however, had previously concluded in Mbappe's favor. The labor court ordered PSG to pay him 61 million euros, and the club decided not to appeal the decision.
