Maya Wertheimer cries in front of the camera: this is the trauma she went through at home
An unbelievable end to the festive evening for the presenter of the year: after returning home excited, the star asked her husband to help her with a simple task that got complicated and led to tears and an emotional storm.
It was supposed to be one of the happiest and most flattering evenings in the professional life of Maya Wertheimer. She returned from a festive event of Israel Bidur, where she won the title of Presenter of the Year, still excited about the achievement and the blessings that began to flow to her. However, right at home, far from the stage and the cameras of the event, an unexpected drama unfolded that managed to make her forget for a moment even the big win.
After returning from the event, Wertheimer asked her husband, Asaf Zamir, to help her release her hairstyle. There was a rubber band in her hair used for tension, and she asked him to cut it. Zamir approached the task with scissors, but instead of cutting only the rubber band, he accidentally cut part of her hair as well.
An astonished Wertheimer showed the followers the result and did not hide the crying:
"All my friends are calling me to say congratulations and I am crying because I asked Asaf to cut the hair tension rubber band for me and Asaf accidentally cut my hair instead of the rubber band."
Later, she presented the lock of hair that was cut and clarified that although Asaf is holding a part in his hand that looks small, for her the damage is much more significant. "He is holding a small part in his hand and it looks fine but it is oooo!!!! I am not joking, it is real," she added while struggling to digest the mistake that happened right at the end of the festive evening.
After the initial crying, Wertheimer tried to regain some perspective and describe the emotional storm she was going through:
"Okay Maya, perspective, I know, I am just hormonal and I need a moment to cry it out and then we will laugh."
At the bottom of the video, she summarized her situation with the words: "The emotional rollercoaster I am going through today."
Zamir also addressed the incident and presented his version of events to his followers: "Maya returned from an event and asked me to undo the knot they made in her hair or something, and I accidentally cut her hair." In the video he uploaded, Wertheimer was seen upset on the bed, while he tried to explain how the innocent request for help turned within seconds into a dramatic family event.
