At Hapoel Ramat Gan, the staff is working to finalize the squad construction before the start of the Premier League next week. So far, the club has added 18 new players—the most in the league—with the goal of adding at least two more Israelis and one foreign player to the existing roster.

The club continues advanced talks with winger Matan Hozez, and officials believe an agreement will be reached soon. Hozez will arrive as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Hapoel Jerusalem. Having already signed six new foreign players, Ramat Gan is looking to add at least one more Israeli with Premier League experience, making Hozez a top priority for coach Messay Dego and the club's management.

In addition to Hozez, the team expects to add another foreign player, as Brazilian defender Marcio Silva is close to an agreement and is scheduled to arrive in Israel in the coming days. Silva, 25, stands 1.92 meters tall and is intended to play alongside Portuguese defender Jota, completing the defensive line. Last season, the Brazilian played for Ponte Preta in the Brazilian second division. In recent years, Silva has featured for various clubs in Brazil, including Coritiba, Guarani, and Botafogo.
