Maggie Tabibi says goodbye to Channel 14: "In light of the period the country is going through"
A Channel 14 correspondent and news anchor shared photos from her vacation, admitting she hesitated for a long time to leave Israel during such a challenging time. She is currently vacationing on a Greek island with her partner.
Maggie Tabibi, a Channel 14 correspondent and former "Big Brother" reality show contestant, posted a video on her Instagram account last Thursday showing her departure from Israel via Ben Gurion Airport. By Friday, she had shared the first photos from her vacation, which looks particularly photogenic.
Tabibi is currently enjoying a getaway on a Greek island. In her posts, she captured a spacious, stylish room, a pampering meal for two, and a spectacular sea view from her window. Alongside the images, she wrote that she had long considered taking this step, but felt unable to do so given the current situation in the country.
"In light of the period our beautiful country is going through, I have refrained from going on such a trip until now. So just thank you for a magical break," she wrote, concluding her post with "Shabbat Shalom."
She also took the time to share a warm recommendation for those who helped organize her trip. Making a rare exception to her usual social media habits, she credited her travel agent:
"I don't tend to upload recommendation videos here, but this time I had to deviate from my custom and give credit to the one and only who moved mountains to put this vacation together. Starting from the complex adjustment to the schedule to the meticulous and creative thinking for the smallest details."
